How Will Releases Display in My Shopify Store?

  • Updated

After you create a release inside Single - scroll down and hit "Review for Sale".

You'll then be prompted with three options:

  1. Publish with Audio Player
  2. Publish without Audio Player
  3. Attach to Existing Products

Note: Check out our dedicated support article for more info on the different ways to publish your release.

Publish with Audio Player

When you publish your music from Single using the "Publish with Audio Player" option, your release will look like the below image inside your shop. During installation, we add a few template files to your theme to make all the magic happen. The colors and fonts you're using in Shopify will automatically be applied.

How will the release display if it is a pre-sale?

If you publish your digital standalone album during a pre-sale, using the "Publish with Audio Player" option, things will display similarly to the example above.

However, it is important to note that audio previews will NOT be available for unreleased tracks. Once the track is released, the audio preview will be made available if you have used the "Publish with Audio Player" option and selected for 30s previews to be available.

Publish without Audio Player

If you select the "Publish without Audio Player" option, this will create the product in Shopify for you while using Shopify's default template! This option gives you customization freedom to display the page as desired.

Attach to Existing Products

When you attach the digital release you created in Single to a product inside your Shopify store, this allows us to work behind the scenes without utilizing Single's product template.

There won't be any visual difference to your Shopify product. We would recommend putting (+ digital album) in the product title. Here is an example:
