Why is WAV, AIFF, or FLAC required?

  • Updated

Consistency & Quality.

To reduce the chances of corrupted files or poor conversion, we're going to take care of that part for you.

This way you have one less thing to worry about and your fans know they are getting the best possible quality - straight from the source!

We create 3 different formats from your lossless file. When fans purchase music, they receive a link to a landing page; from there they can download an MP3, FLAC, ALAC or WAV. We included an example of our landing page below:

Warning: WAV and FLAC files inherently do not include metadata like album art, track info and album info. If you upload an AIFF, the metadata included in those files will not carry over to the final files your fans download.
