What Is a Wallet?

  • Updated

A “wallet” is a secure, digital wallet for your cryptocurrency and NFTs

This is where you can safely store your crypto assets, such as NFTs, after you have purchased them. Your wallet will have a specific “address” assigned to it, which is essentially the ID or publicly facing code for your wallet. The address will act as an identifier during the process of transferring assets in and out of your wallet.

Since Single mints NFTs on the Solana blockchain, you will need to use a Solana compatible wallet. Having a wallet is required in order to receive royalties made from secondary market sales of your NFT. There are plenty of options out there, but if you do not already have a Solana wallet, we highly suggest trying Phantom Wallet. It is a free and user-friendly Solana wallet that can be used to store NFTs, buy cryptocurrency, or send money to friends - right from your browser or mobile device. Plus, it connects to your Single account in a breeze!
